Tomorrow is the first real training session of the new year for the Tigers. The Tan run on Friday doesn't count.

This session for me each year is the most exciting because it marks the start of the 2007 season beginning. More match simulation type training sessions, practice matches with other clubs, and inter club matches. This comes with more training reports, more radiom and paper coverage, and ultimately not long till Pre season cup and season proper begin.

I hate the christmas period as there is no trade period, drafts or changes to coaching staff, and being no training there is generally nothing new about RFC. From tomorrow onwards the buzz will continue to grow, and hopefully there will be stuff in the papers about other stuff rather than Karakour and Carlton.

This time last year i was working weekends so had three days a week off, and as a result got to go to practice matches plus more training sessions. This year however, I am working Monday to Friday, and will rely heavily on my post christmas reports from my beloved PRE members reports. I thankyou all in advance.

Let the serious stuff begin.

Good luck Tigers in 2007.

I can't wait for the intraclub black vs whites match - possibly at Phillip Island this year where the Tiges are holding their annual camp.

I too would like to thank all those good prenders that have taken the time and effort to post training reports last year and for the coming year.

Top post BA. Summed it up beautifully.

I usually manage to get away early from work a few times in January, so hopefully, if the advertised training times are reliable, I may be able to give some reports. The added bonus is I got a new digital camera recently that I am looking to test out. 8)
Might even volunteer my services to kick back a few footys from the stands. ;D
