IMO there should be no way Richmond will lose tomorrow.
Then again the one point loss last season did something to my eternal optimism and faith in the team that I still haven't fully recovered from.
Richmond by 48. Time to put them away.
Go Tiges.

Nothing would surprise me with those duds, 48 points come on rosy....even if they win it is normally scrappy ugly pitiful football. If they win they will scrape in

Just wishful thinking really Laff. It's about time they did it to a team.
Happened in the Dockers game and the weather won't be much better tomorrow.
Maybe we play better when the weather demands g&d rather than skill and precision.
Eat 'Em Alive.

With Kellaway back and wet weather forecast I am looking forward to the game..........with his skill level and the duds around him it will be like watching an old episode of the benny hill show

wish i had your positive outlook rosy.

im not very confident at all and with the weather expected it will be a scrap, it depends on who wants the win more, us or carlton

The boys just know how to disappoint us in these must win situations.... i hope im wrong and we flog the crappy blues but im not holding my breath on this one.

I was totally confident that we would flog Carlton until I saw the team lineup. Now I think we will win but it will be a lot closer due to the number of players we have out. :-\

While I love seeing the tigers win, a loss to Carlton will see at least 6 nails driven into Spuds coffin. And if we have to go backwards to go forwards, so be it.
Nothing would please me more than see Spud given the big heavho. He is clearly out of his depth, practising his incompetant craft on my team!

im still waiting for that flogging and im not leaving the ground until i get it.

we lost to bloody carlton, what a typical result.

The loss was the only *smile* part of my weekend in Melbourne. Utterly devastating at the time. I had this poor kid in front of me in tears during the third quarter when the Blues hit the front and at the end of the game i was joining him. Too bloody tragic but i wasnt going to let it ruin my weekend, although it was a topic of conversation all night as i drowned my sorrows first in the hotel room and then at Crown. *smile* devastating.

Wayne Campbell is a champion, rate the bloke highly.

Had a good time being in the Richmond social club after the game, had a good time, felt sorry for Newman and Zantuck getting interviewed looking devastated with hardly anyone listening and everyone talking over them. Their hurt was obvious and they could not look any fans in the eye.

Had fun at pre game BBQ too having a look around having a sausage and going into merchandise shop. Bought a ponchoi thingy i still ahvent bothered wearing and felt sorry as a nice old lady was tryign to sell me everything and i ended up not bothering although i would have liked too if i had the funds.

Saw Collingwood go down today loved it, adn also was at Telstra Dome Friday night. Had a great weekend, would have perfect had we won. Was devastated for a while, now gutted but gettign over it. Boys have a week off hopefully they can regroup. IT is good they have been shown that Brisbane is not invincible at Gabba./

Totally agree with you Shawry. Did he come over and say g'day? Did you get a chance to ask him how his injury is coming along?

Saturday morning when the injured players were training me and my mate were jsut doing a lap of the oval walking around and he was running laps adn us not really noticing he was running past, he jsut said g'day adn asked us how we were going. Then we were talking to a bloke who flew over from Queensland and he was tellign us how on the Friday he had gone to Wayne asking him where his pub was as he wanted a countermeal. Wayne told him where it was told t ohim to say to his wife that Wayne sent him adn he would get half price. Wayne then rang his wife (as i could imagine many people would say Wayne sent me) and when he got their Waynes wife was expecting him adn he got the discount and a real good meal.

The guy is an ultimate professional and a great ambassador for the club. Cant say enough good things about him. Very different to Billy Nicholls who gave the impression he was gods gift to humankind adn wouldnt even acknowledge that nice Queensland guy who said gday to him. Dickheads like him who obviously couldnt care less about supporters the club doesnt need.

I dont' think that's acceptable shawry. I haven't met Billy personally but I know people who think he's the nicest kid out.
There would be plenty who would attest to Campbo being impersonal and aloof earlier on, though it seems he's made more of an effort his season.
You can only comment on the players as you experience them personally but I think it's way off the mark to generalise about Billy like that.

Just the impression me and my mate got from seeing him. I can only comment on what i see Rosy and i am the type of guy who speaks my mind. Fair enough if you dont agree with em, maybe Billy was jsut having a bad day but that is the impression i got. Neither of us were very impressed with him. Maybe i was a bit harsh by calling him a *smile* without giving him another opportunity.

THe way the fans are treated at training can be a bit disappointing.

Often there are many young kids trying to get autographs, and the whole group comes off the ground together, and quicky scamper up the race.

Generaly, only Richo, Cambo and Rodan stick around to sign autographs for the kids

Richo would obviously do this so he can have a chat to someone with his intellect and maturity level ;D
