For me,

1. Tom Lynch - easily our best and I'd argue best key forward in the AFL
2 Grimes - assuming he can get back to 2020/21 form he's critical to our defence and leadership team. Dropped off a little this year but still our most important defender.
3. Taranto - reckon he'll have a lot to prove to the AFL community and will have a huge impact with his running ability on around the ground contests.
4. Dusty - similar to Grimes, when he's up and firing he's unstoppable. 80% of that would be a great return considering his age. Also just for moral value for the team as a whole.
5. D. Rioli - He's looked like a different player over rhe last 2 years and we don't have anyone else as damaging across half back as him, Shorty not too bad but not in D Riolis league.

They are all important.
Each player has a role to play and provided he does that then his place in the team is pretty much secure.
That does not mean the up and coming players should not be given a chance to show their wares
IMHO, no one player is more important than another.
All have to do their job as defined by the coach and /or coaches.
That is how success will come.

1. Tom Lynch - Best key forward in the game.
2. Tim Taranto - Is 25 and in the prime of his footballing career. Should carry the midfield on his very broad shoulders and stamp himself as an elite of the competition.
3. Shai Bolton - Our x-factor forward midfielder. No other player like him in the competition. Another year like last year will go a long way to us making the top 4.
4. Dylan Grimes - Our best key defender which is in itself a major concern given his age. Hopefully can stay injury free.
5. Jacob Hopper - Like Taranto, in his prime. Must stand up and carry the midfield.

We need one of Taranto or Hopper to have near career best seasons.

1. Lynch - most important player by a mile. With Jack on his last legs, the key forward stocks is bare without these two.
2. Grimes - his leadership and versatility is crucial to the back half synergy.
3. M.Rioli - his forward pressure simply creates goals. We seem much more potent and likely to win with him in the side.
4. D.Rioli - without his run and skill off half back, the team would struggle to get drive.
5. Prestia - would have him #2 last year, but with the overdue welcome of the likes of Hopper and Taranto adding to the coal face depth, Prestia's absence won't be as devastating.

1. Lynch - Irreplaceable
2. Martin - Premierships have been won due to the Goat's output. If his headspace is right, he's still the best.
3. Prestia - Transitional midfielder. So crucial to how we play.
4. Bolton - Goal kicking midfielder is gold.
5. Taranto - Running machine.

So many replying on the two new recruit. Do you realise there had minimal impact at gws for multiple years? These aren’t our key or important players lol
