Discussion on Pickett and Arch etc have got me thinking about genuine tough players. Would be interested to know which players, Tiges or otherwise, people think are/were super tough. The game is very different from 20-30 years ago when the players referred to as tough blokes could really dish it out but to me tough is being willing to take it for the team rather than physically taking players out.
My vote is for Andrew Kellaway. I can't imagine how a player could be tougher. He puts his body on the line, with little regard for self-preservation, every gamew he plays. It's a family trait. I'd have Duncan right up there with him too.
