PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I went through out list today, and thought I'd put people in range of catagories - from untouchables to "we'll give you a $5 note if you'll take em".

If you were to think of our list, I'm pretty sure most people would say we really don't have many "untouchable" type players. The guys with the most "tradability" are the ones down to the "you've got my attention" list. These are the guys you'd keep, but if a good offer come up you'd take. Anything in the first two catagories would have to be a magical, almost one sided deal, before I'd trade.

The "Comes with a free set of steak knives" list are guys I'd trade in an instant, but they probably don't have a heap of currency.

The "Unavailable for trade" list:
Shane Tuck, Nathan G. Brown, Mark Coughlan, Joel Bowden, Chris Newman, Brett Delidio, Matthew Richardson

The "If you're asking, you'd better be serious" list:
Kane Johnson, Troy Simmonds, Richard Tambling, Danny Meyer, Adam Pattison, Dean Polo, Jay Schulz

The "You've got my attention" list:
Chris Hyde, Andrew Kellaway, Kayne Pettifer, Brent Hartigan, Ray Hall, Andrew Krakouer, Darren Gaspar, Nathan Foley, Andrew Raines, Will Thursfield , Trent Knobel, Daniel Jackson,Greg Stafford, Kelvin Moore, Dean Limbach, Luke McGuane, David Rodan, Thomas Roach

The "Comes with a free set of steak knives" list:
Greg Tivendale, Mark Chaffey, Alex Gilmour,

Looking at the lists, and listening to the rumours on radio/in the papers, if someone asked about Krakouer, I'd listen pretty seriously. I'd think you'd be able to get some second round draft picks for him. We also seem to have quite a few options in his position, so I think we could cover his absence easily. (Polo, Rodan, Foley).

I'd go with the Tivendale for Welsh trade if that's what is on the table.

I'd steer clear of the Fevola trade. I'd hate to receive damaged goods, and especially when they come with a high price tag. Pick no 8 isn't available.

I'd try trade 2 guys from the "got my attention list" for draft picks in the first or second round. Possibly Hyde, Krakouer, Roach or Pettifer.

I'd trade my pick no 40 down for a lower pick if I could.

Thoughts?
