training 11/1

Is there training today? I'm too shy to be the one that starts a new thread when I'm not within 4000km of training.

Kane's 6 non dominating goals reminds me of a match in the 70's.
STK v Haw
Dad was a saints fan and walking to the car after the game he said he'd give 1 vote to Cowboy Neale who we both agreed did a good job on Peter Hudson.

In the car, the around the grounds radio man said Hudson kicked 16 goals.

Non dominant goals of course!

Spooky, I had also thought of a similar Hudson story when reading this thread. Early 70's or maybe late 60's , youngster standing on beer cans behind the goals at Glenferrie Oval to get a view of the action - sad day for the tiges and we went down to the Hawks, not many Hawk goals at our end but lots of scrappy Hawk goals at the other end. I consoled myself and others that at least Hudson didn't do a thing. Got to the car and turned on the radio and he'd kicked 8, a bit like that Huddo - would non dominate games and end up with 150 goals in a season. Gee I hope Kayne becomes at least half as non dominating as Huddo!

No agenda in my posts regardless of what you may read into em i stated i was going wholly and solely to look at the youngsters which is what i did pretty much, and what comment i raised was as a result of what happened in the game didnt think that Pettifers goals were that important in the scheme of things and neither would many others had they been there to see it.

IMBECILES . TIS FUNNY I DIDNT SEE YOU GUYS AT THE SESSION SO PULL YOUR HEADS IN AND STICK YOUR SMART ARSE COMMENTARY.
STUFF TRAINING REPORTS YOU CRETINS DONT APPRECIATE sh!t SO YOU CAN GET STUFFED.

Stick to your guns Craig. Excellent reporting by all accounts, and I look forward to getting home and reading your reports.

To be honest, I dont really care what players like Petteifer, Tivers, Gaspar and Krakour are doing. It's what they do during the year that I'll worry about, but I am glad you focussed on the kids because I dont know much about them and hearing you describe their good and bad points is a great insight for which I am greatful.

Don't worry about it craigybabes. We have a great reporting team happening on PRE and those of us can't be there really appreciate reading all of the comments and opinions.

You know how touchy some people get if a post doesn't say Kayne is Brownlow material. I almost feel sorry for him the way some people fuss over him. ::)

Keep up the good work all our training reporters. :clap

Ta Barmy that was one of the reasons i didnt mention much on established guys, i went to report on the kids cos i feel thats what most PRE's wanna hear about.

Richo would've been proud at that dummy spit Craig :hihi ;).

I'm sure regardless of some comments, everyone appreciated your report.
Certainly us overseas and interstaters appreciate them. :clap  :clap  :clap

Ta Oldie ;)

I dont do reports for acceptance, favour or popularity i do them for those tiger fans such as yourself and many others overseas, regional areas or interstate who rely on them for insight into devlopments at Punt Road.
I thought the majority of tiger fans would prefer to hear about Thursfield, White, Lids, Cleaver, Bling, Jon, Casserly, Foley, Roach, Graham, McGuane, Meyer and Limbach rather than Gaspar, Pettifer, Bowden and the like.

great reports craig, i have never seen the kids play so appreciate the reports and look forward to seeing them in action in the coming years with something to look forward to

Sorry that my huddo story has got you hot under the collar Craig. Not my intent! just a story told against myself which happened to be similar to Poppa's. As I stated earlier in this thread your and other posters efforts are greatly appreciated.

Keep fighting the good fight Craig and keep an eye on my other boys Foley, Schulz and Polo in your travels!

BTW how did little Huddo go today ;D

Lambsy it is a hell of a lot safer to upset me than it is to upset Aunty Rosalita ;)

Thanks for the reports rainesy and Lambert or is that McKellar,  great effort - much appreciated.

I particularly like Craig's dedication to the task in writing a report the size of war and peace and mentioning everythinmg bar (or is that baaahh) the fact that one bloke kicked 6 of his team's nine goal - bloke didn't even get a mention by name.  Wonder who he was.

re 'lambasting' - I find that a marinade made of white wine, olive oil, garlic, rosemary and lemon is the perfect baste on a lamb rack.

Looking forward to many posters enjoying the lamb rack in the season to come.
whoa lambsy dont get to excited by kanes lazy 6 this is a common occurance every jan feb and march for your pin up boy.anyway you should know better getting so worked up about players prospects before a ball has been bounced in anger you have heard of the march champion saying have you not well it applies to your fav player.but i digress do i not, as you rate kane as an elite player heaven forbid.
