G'day folks. Not long back from watching the Tiges train at Subiaco Oval. I took my 2 boys down to have a look at their first training session.

It was a pretty short session and I can't say there is really a lot to report. They did a few drills, basically setting up a player running into the 50 metre line then they had a shot for goal. They also did some handball drills in the middle of the ground.

On the whole, they were pretty sharp drills.

I noticed that Staff was doing a fair bit of goal kicking, so i guess he will be at FF on Saturday night.

Tambling didn't really exert himself a whole lot either. Don't know if he is quite right or not. He didn't appear to be limping or anything like that, just took things easy.

I didn't see any of the emergencies in Jackson, Rodan or Humm, just the 22 that were selected.

Not much else to say except it was great for us West Aussies to see our beloved Tigers train and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks for the report, glad you were able to get to see the Tigers train.

Bet you're looking forward to seeing the Tigers win tomorrow!

I sure am, especially since we'll be sitting in amongst the Freo Ferals. It's gonna be nice waving them goodbye halfway through the last qtr. :hihi

Just back from training myself.... a very quick summation.

Is Newman an outstanding talent or did I just catch him on a good night ?  I have always been a fan but it seemed every time he came over west he was stuck in a back pocket ..would be good for 90% of the game but then a matera or sampi et. al. would get hold of him and undo all his good work..back to training he absolutely burnt today and look forward to him having a big one tomorrow.
Knobel is very good at encouraging others though his inability to kick beyond 45 mt is a big negative. Saw tw take him aside a his gesturing seemed to suggest that if you get a chance to drive sandilands headfirst into the dirt do not hesitate!!
Staffords job for the rest of the year should be to teach patto that even though you are tall and gangly it is still possible to pinpoint passes Stan footpassing was atreat patto's was not.
Tivva kicked it beatifully and his work was much admired by those watching.. if anything needs to ensure he nails all his chances if we are a chance of taking the 4 points.
P.Bowden along with meyer and petts I would say will play forward spent a lot of time at target practice.
White looked a little nervous missed with a few foot passes but soon picked it up tw had an aside chat with him as well.Met his grandfather who has been a tiges supporter for 70 years an is absol;utely chuffed about matt's call up
Tambo looked ok to me during passing drills but seemed to lack penertration with set shots maybe just wan't hitting them well.
Sugar looked good thought his game last wek first up from a spell was excellent ..he played well here in rd 3 and looks set for another goodone
The only disappointment was had by my little fella who thought we were going to see real tigers

Whadda ya mean real tigers? Haven't you explained to the littlun that ours are the only tigers ;D
