In answer to your question on Tom Hislop, he took a few heavily contetsted marks against McGuane, and stood his ground well,he's bigger bodied than I first thought, strong hands.
One occassion there McGuane was all over him like a cheap suit, Hislop marked, went back from 50+ and slotted it.
Made me raise my initial ideas on him, sould be handy.. :clap

wow, that's not easy, not to many players were doing that in the AFL by the end of the year. Either Luke's gone backward or Tommy has some talent.

Sounds lilke he could be in the Aaron Hamill mould as a forward. A bit undersize but a strong mark, physical and a bit of aggro.

I checked Hamill's playing dimensions: per Wiki...184cm and 94kg. Hislop is around the same height (185cm) but is listed at 9kgs lighter (85kg). Thinking about it this way, maybe he can play a role up forward.

Wallace has commended Hislop on his marking skills, seems there's something to it. Good stuff.
Hopefully he takes a few grabs during the season proper and slots them too.
