PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum
First of all, lovely sunny Melbourne day.
Trained for approx 1 an half hours.
The obvious injurys didnt train but did see Cogs in training gear with knee brace on so probally already back into some sought of work :clap.
Knobs an Hall did a little bit early on there own but then left the track.
Gas and Chubba trained well but didnt finish the session did a couple of individual things(lookin after the old boys).
Richo ,would be shocked if he didnt take the park, took a beauty over Paddy and didnt seem to have any probs with marking ;D.
Jacko trained well seems fine now did really stretch out and was used as a leading forward.
After warm ups the boys started in about 6 groups with 1 player kicking to two players leading at him over about 20 metres then rolling the ball on ground an rotating around.
Played about 30 minutes praccy match as well,then did a couple of full ground drills with a group of players having a rest each time (very match like drills).
Did note today that though certain players may lack in area they more then make up for it in another area like the guys who need a little work on there kicking are outstanding marks.
On a few players today:Angus's physique has come on magnifcintly he is a monster of a kid now and his improvment is huge may just be a hidden gem 8)
JON love the way he is starting to learn to run hard of the half back line when we have the ball,so to present down field an become another opptionthis kid could well become the pick of last years draft,Will win 07 rising star ;D.
Mcguane Played on Hyde an just loved the way he is learning when you play on a left footer let them get the ball but DO NOT let them get on to there Left easy.
Bling ran very very hard had poor old Tommy chasin hard :clapLike a lot of outstanding juniors you dont have too work hard to get a kick till you get to the big league,But you can see from today he knows he has to run hard an with that he is making a great link man.
