Can now, not earlier.

What is the rate ratio of troops? How many should you have for a village of 200?

Depends how agressive you want to be scoop.

I'm now a proud owner of Oasis. 63/-104

Depends. My opinion only _
Offensive troops- Imps - as many as you need to raid. If you're an active raider, at least 10. If you fid your troops are always away and there are other farms just waiting to be looted, then maybe anothe 5-10
Defensively - again depends. If your crannies are adequate overnight or while you're offline for a while and not at risk of losisng resourses even when raided, then you don't need any. Of course there's the hassle of having to send your Imps away for long raids to avoid them getting inadvertently wiped out. If you find your production exceeds how much you can hide ( and when you get sick of having to hide your Imps every night), then you need Praets . At least 20 for them to have any use, then slowly build it up to 50 as you get larger.
I reckon the most important thing is to have a scout always camoed in your village. They're less likely to raid you if they can't scout you first.
Again, as I said, my opinion only and others may diagree

Excellent. How many troops did it take?
Someone else had cleared it down to one rat and 1 spider--so it only took handful of troops and my hero.

I expect that whoever was clearing it to attack me tho--so i guess I'll have to defend it now.

Gives a nice bonus extra 25% iron and 25% crop so it's worth fighting for :boxing

Talk about cutting someone elses lunch. What's the go with hero skill points. Have you been attacking farms with troops to up his points? I'm usually attacking defenseless farms, so no points there I assume

Yeh attacked a few people with troops and also the oasis a few times.Hero is cool,he re-invigorates himself.

you redistribute the skill points depending what u going to do with him--you want him to reinvigorate u apportion them there,if u using him for an attack apportion that way.

No skill increase if u attack unmanned villages.

Ok, guess it's time to start raiding (hopefully small) armed villages

Currently I have 4 level four crops and 2 level 5 should I do one of the level 5 to level 6 so I can do the mill or just do them all to 5 and keep them progressing all at the same.

The mill gives you a 5% boost per upgrade, so you can compare what 5% increase in your current production compared to what upgrading from 4-5 gives you

Thanks will continue to upgrade one at a time so none are more than a level higher than the others and wait until one hits six before I bother with the mill which at this rate should be around this time tomorrow.

oh population i have 12.
You would still have beginners protection then. Just concentrate on boosting your resourses. If you're Roman, aim to game your resourse production at a ratio of Clay 12 / Timber 10/ iron 8/ crops 6 . You can't be raided for this moment so just keep plugging away. As you're nearing the end of your protection period, build up your cranny. Remember that against Teutons only 2/3 of your cranny's maximum is hidden, so look at your production and have your cranny at the appropriate level ( I hope that makes sense)

As for the Alliance, without trying to sound like an *smile*, it is probably a bit early. Most people who post on this forum are split between 2 alliances - FKoF and W.A.R II, most (including myself) in the latter. In W.A.R II there are 40 or so members, with the lowest having a population of 147 (its a bit lower than that in FKoF). We are all recent members ( having moved there a few days ago) and have noreal say in the recruiting. Having said that , the top 2 guys population wise, and 4 in the top 6 are all PREenders, so if you get your population going a bit, they may be able to put in a good word and try to get yoy in early.
Let us know your name and village location, and we may still be able to help you out even before you join the alliance. You will get in, it may just take some time.

Understand mate sounds good.

Make sure you use the gold you start with....click on plus then the gold tab. You can up the production rate of your resources to get you going quicker. Took me a while to realise when I started.
