Are you going to settle out near duckgirl dude? It seems like thats where most of the alliance is.

Might be a good spot for the 15 cropper

Last time I looked there was still a decent 9 cropper down near our new suburb. If that's there when I have the next lot of settlers built I'll grab it I think.

later down the track tohugh?

I'm pretty keen on -4/-172. what do you think? it's gettin gg hard to find a descent 15er now.

76/-105 is the other option which is nice and close--no oasis bonus tho

Yeah I'm not sure. I reckon the alliance and it's confeds are probably strong enough down in that area that I might try and build up something worthwhile around the new suburb. With alec126 near us we could be pretty strong there too.

I think evo hes overtaken him. he owes him some cats.

Whats the story with troops getting killed when there are no defensive troops?Do they get killed by the residence or the wall or something?

It's happened to me about 4 or 5 times now.*smile* annoying.

The residence does it mate.

Huh
Are you saying the mere presence of a residence can kill troops
Is it therefore beneficial having a residence?

On this topic is it better to have a palace or a residency?

Hopefully I will have my Palace at 10 by this evening.

Been a long slow grind to get there.
Why'd you go for a palace rather than a residence?

Mick, yeah a high level residence can kill one or two troops depending on how many are in your army.

You build a palace only if you want that village to be your capital. Neither is essentially better.

Thanks disco

Updating my crop

To take a field from lvl 6 to 7 costs 246 resources per 1 unit per hour increase
To take a field from lvl 7 to 8 costs 272 resources per 1 unit per hour increase

Therefore its more economical to get all fields up at the same time, rather than pushing just one field ahead of the others.

Are the benefits of one lvl 10 worth it?

LMAO - I wanna join WorldsBest BaconProvider just coz of the name. They're pretty big and are at war with You Give. I wonder how you can find out what's going down?

Yeah it's gonna be a huge showdown when those two eventually go at it full on.

Mick, I think it's only worth upgrading one clay/wood/iron field to 10 when you get them all to 8. I don't think it helps with crop because the grain mill is so expensive at level 4 and 5. I only just did my level 5 mill and bakery a day or two ago and I've had level 10 fields for a couple of weeks.
