it doesnt seem to cost any resources to demolish, however u have lost the ones u used in the construction. (i went cranny mad one night after a nasty raid)
 
ah, what seems to happen is that popn drops by one for each level you demolish. I wonder why that is?

Maybe a brick fell on a passing serf?
 
And it gets quicker to demolish a level as u get closer to zero. I guess thats the reverse of the building process.

My thoughts on the dropping popn is that i reckon yr popn is based on all yr constructions and resources, so if you are removing stuff it means yr popn would drop.
 
Yeah that's right 6y. Each building uses up a certain amount of wheat, and that determines your population.

On a side note, Ms Duck has beaten me to the punch and will be settling in her own 15 cropper by tomorrow morning. :-[

she obviously aint pulling her weight down at the cafe mate!
 
hmm, u dont lose a member of yr popn every level. only every few levels. must lose more from the higher levels then it bottoms out a bit.

i've lost 3 i think dismantling a level 9 cranny.
 
Nah man, have a look at this page. You only lose population relative to the wheat consumption for each level. Cranny's don't use any wheat up to level 5.

Yeah just keep slogging away BT, and if you have a few villages below 100 around you, get some troops and start raiding.
