Got 4K, producing 241 a day. I'm doing the same, making a Town Hall to have some parties. I can have one about every 6 hours.
 
yeh--i been thinking of making a town hall--i think you can only have 1/day--could be wrong about that tho.

At the moment cranking the merchants up to 20--that gives 115 points,plus at least they're useful.
 
disco, noticed u didn't go for a 9 or 15 cropper, but parked yourself next to 2 crop oasis.

What do we do with this attack thing our alliance has organised? Don't think it's the smartest thing to do but do we follow alliance commands?

working on my 3rd settler so don't want to hold things up.

Without catapults can't do much to these guys apart from being nuisance value. I reckon it might be time to battern down those hatches and get your defence organised, in preparation for some big attacks

To avoid losing your troops overnight, or whenever you're offline for an extended period , send your troops on a really long raid. Find a nice safe village to raid 3-4 or however many hours away and send them off. As long as your crannies are large enough, let the others raid you as much as they like. After getting the 4 doughnuts from you a few times, they'll move on
 
Can you send your troops on a general raid, rather than raiding a specific village?

If so, how?
 
No, pick a village. Just move up a few 7x7 grids on your map (3-4), find a suitable village to raid, then click on it to see how long it will take to get there. If the time is too long/short, don't click the final ok for the raid, but go back to map and move around accordingly until you final one that will give you roughly the time you need.

When evo sat for me, he carried out a few raids

In the reports it says that i attacked ?
and doesnt give a name for the village

How is this possible?
 
he got delisted by the mods for lack of action on his account--he used to be your next door neighbourh--scotch and coke--some name like that

Just tried to raid a village
When I look, my troops are still in the village?
 
So are you guys doing anything different with this pending "war", or is it business as usual?
 
hit send a 2nd time,Michael--happens to everyone first up-i still forget to do it from time to time

Haroldo, I got that spot to be close enough to reinforce you and evo and there were no 9 or 15's left. I'll try grabbing one with my 4th village, my next one's going to be very close to this second one.

I'm not going to be able to help much in attacking, but I can pump out plenty of defense so happy to do that if needed, which I'm sure it will be lol.

I'd keep working on settling and setting up your new village.

I also reckon Michaels idea has some merit.
 
set up my second village. Only takes 18 mins for my merchants to get there, but takes 1hr for praets.
