oh miller hes done it again. what should have happened was casserlys contract was not renewed. he should then have been placed on the rookie list for this yr and next.
smart clubs have a tendency to do this with young players who have chronic injury.its a good way to asses if a player is capable of overcoming his issues without it costing to much. anyway just my opinion on it.

Do you have an example of where a club has done that?

of the top of my head freo have done it with mourish and dunn i think they were going to do it with collard as well. a special circumstance one is ramanauskas. i think you will find if you look closely its been done a bit it doesnt have to be because of injury but if you have an injury riddled youngster who you rate but want to free up a list spot its a smart way of doing things.

I don't know about rookie lists but I certainly felt at the time of the extension that two years was too much for a player who had not played a senior game and had a history of soft tissue injuries. Should have been a one yr extension only IMO.

not at all daisey like us they overrate their older players big time. like us they trade far to many early picks for hacks.

But we won the last one in the West by 64 points!!
we should have one the one before that as well. they won by 21 points in a game we dominated to half time. umps murdered us this game.

I had a chat to Casserley at the members cocktail party and he mentioned that he wasn't too far off with his injuries. I asked him about the Germany option and he said it had been seriously discussed but that it is in the 'wait and see' category at the moment.

He only has 1 year left on his contract. The wait and see option is over,
