Indeed he did….Stack jumped on board and did some heavy lifting through the third as well. Needed more to follow them both.
Best game all year - did not contribute in the last quarter when it mattered.
It amazes me so many are itching to write off our triple premiership captain.

Refused to have a shot from 35? Can’t hit a target. He’s gotta be injured, he’s lost his zip and his touch. He’s operating purely on heart. And it’s a huge one. But he needs a rest. If he can’t get right for next season he needs to give it away. He’d be leaving as the tigers greatest ever captain in my eyes.
one things for sure there’s no way he could play half back flank. His ball use is simply too poor. It’s midfield or retirement for the chimp.
I didn’t watch him closely but didn’t think he had much influence. Was surprised to see he had 32 touches. He didn’t have a centre clearance. He had a game high 8 clangers for the tigers. Disp eff of 53%.
for a mid to get 32 touches and have 4 score involvements is revealing. I saw a captain refusing the set shot responsibility from 35m for the second week in a row. A captain doing quick kicks out of packs to the opposition. That kick off the ground in the last out of the centre to the wing ? Why? He has lost his step and his confidence for mine. His body must be hurting big time. He’s used it as a battering ram for 10 plus years. His kicking is worse than ever. I fear he won’t be able to get that power and speed back.
