Start of season Cotch was a one contest at a time player. Couldn't get to the next one in time to impact. Now he is. Does the game slow down as the season wears on? How has he got back to a very close resemblance of his peak powers? 7 more of last nights please Cotch.

Cornes saying its a week for the sling tackle.

Cant believe what geelong get away with each week and our players can barely touch a player without getting called for a suspension.
Cornes even suggested the week off would do him good.

That wasn’t a sling tackle. What a load of crap. Shouldn’t even be looked at. I’m not even sure Wines’ head hit the ground; although I’d had a few when I was watching it.

*smile* off Christian you game killer.

Have you seen the size of Wine’s massive head?
Laws of gravity dictate its trajectory will always head south

That’s because he dared to touch one of Cornes’ favourites. Kane was probably watching the game and having flashbacks to his 300th.
Watch the 9 Footy Show and couldn’t believe what Cornes was on about as others have said.

His head didn’t hit the ground. Yes Cotch had his arm pinned , but when he spun the player around , to me Cotch was careful not to forcefully swing with momentum so he (Wines ) hits his head on the ground.

For that tackle on Wines?? *smile* soft, Dixon should get 2.
It's an odd situation when a tackle that results in the player being able to continue to play (and play next week) results in a penalty but you can line up a player and cannon your knee into his ribs that results in the player no longer able to this game and the next and it escapes penalty

yeah.. it's part of the game and its adjudicating that leaves a bit to be desired ..

why not when a player is injured like that and is subbed out of the game, investigate the situation and ask why it happened..

it's Careless, Med-High impact to the body - that's a week according to the guidelines ..

Unfortunately, as much as I want to call Dixon a plastic tough guy, cheap shot artist, there was nothing wrong with his hit on Vlastuin.
Not sure about Cotch's tackle. Could go either way.
KMac would be unlucky by who knows.

The rules don't make any sense to anyone. Players, coaches, supporters, casual onlookers, etc...

It shouldn't be this hard to oversee rules that make people think "Yeah, that's reasonable"

You see a dozen or more, more forceful tackles than Trent's each weekend. If it was Duckwood, there would be nothing to see.
