Trying to jog leysy's memory, but who said that Phil?

I am pretty sure Leysy that Grant Thomas said that about himself...that he eats pressure for breakfast, or he has pressure with his cornflakes (something like that). I believe thats why Patrick Smith used to refer to him as Cornflakes.

Did he. HaHa.

Leysy's recollection was that Smith likened him to a cereal because he'd been tipped out of so many (coaching) boxes before.

Despite playing very good footy against good competition so far this year Cotch is paying $51 for the brownlow...

Who's paying $51, Joe? TAB are only paying $41 and was thinking of taking that...

Meanwhile, Jack is suddenly paying $21 for the Coleman. If he turns his form around in the next few weeks (which there were signs of last game) he could easily make up the 10 goal difference.

I got Cotchin @ $41 few weeks ago & on sporting bet Jack is @12 atm

You might be right about the Cornflakes part Leysy.

I also thought it may have had something to do with Thomas having got his coaching credentials out of a Cornflakes box. Any of them are quite good!

But I am pretty certain on the pressure for breakfast bit.

coco-pops Cotchin?

im pretty sure it was the Saints prez who made the 'pressure for breakfast' comment. Westaway? back when they were friends.

I'm on it, but he won't of got many votes in losing teams, so I'm not as confident as I was

I expect him to only be on a few votes at the moment but also expect him to start carving opponents completely apart, especially now that we are starting to play some slightly weaker opponents...

Just put a sneaky $10 on him
I put a lazy ton on him before the first game. I'm nearly standing in the que to collect

I reckon he would have got at least 2 votes last week (between him and Kerr for the 3). Maybe 2 against the cats too. Can't remember the first three weeks but from memory he did pretty well in those games too.

You're right though about not getting as many votes in losing teams. IMO he is playing well enough to win a brownlow but we will need to start winning games for it to actually happen.

I just put a sneaky ten on a multi: Cotch for the Browlow ($41) and Jack for the Coleman ($21) x $10 = $8610

I've got my fingers crossed Jack turns his form around and kicks bags of goals, which get us over the line in lots of game, which get Cotch more votes 8-

happy he had a bad game (doesn't sound right i know), it just means we don't need the cotch to have brilliant games week in week out for us to still win. Hes only human after all.

Was as well held today as I have seen him for a while.

Correct. But the wonderful thing is with Cotchin well held, Deledio got off the chain and Martin ran free.

Second half it changed again. But it's good for the Chimp to get a tough up every now and again. This is the treatment he can expect for the next 12 years.
