The hulking belligerence of Martin, the sublime marshalling of Cotchin and the silky skills of Deledio combined to create a passage of play so seamless that not one Richmond player needed to break stride and not one Hawthorn player could anticipate.
Best play of the day coast to coast, but it was expected to see Bull, Chimp and Lids do that. My biggest enjoyment of that play was to see Shank compose himself to kick a straight and vital goal which virtually sealed the game.
