Brendan Gale announced on Twitter that Cotchin was definitely going around again as Captain when I posted it.
It was a clear announcement.
Something has changed since or someone hacked his account.

Whether the club thinks a younger player needs more time to develop and they go the older stop gap measure.

Like others have said, deserves his last season to be free of the captaincy and also to be a mentor to whoever takes over.

I think Nank should be skipper, but not sure he wants to.
