PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

The boys ceased Sheahan's HS article in today's paper as the catalyst for today's session.

Brian Taylor (egged on I must say by Lyon and Brayshaw) made pointed statements about Miller's "big" misses in recruiting. Barge clearly has issues with Miller and cited Garry March is on record as wanting him out of his role as a director.

Meyer, Oakley-Nicholls were mentioned as missing in action. Tambling and Delidio are ONLY barely passes at this point.

Damien Barret rejected the notion and said Wallace cannot go unscathed. He again raised the Wallace's early claim when first appointed that in 2008 Richmond would be "surging up"....and he could not hide from this despite the adjustment forecast now around 2011/12 (cough cough)

Lyon's gripe was no new players have been introduced in to this years sides. NONE. For a side that finished on the bottom, he expected to see more youngsters starting this season off. He mentioned White, Edwards, Reilwoldt, said that only King had been continued with.

Brayshaw chimed in and said all members want to see is a club winning, if they can't see that they want to see glimpses of the future, the consensus was Richmond seemingly are doing nothing new.

A "sellfish" culture was labelled at the club by the MMM guys, that players and officials string a few good things/wins together and then when the wheels fall off and they run in different directions and the place reverts back to whats its becoming known for - game plans and system run out the window. Conveniently SPUD was not in the box to discuss.

IN START CONTRAST SEN were right into Terry Wallace almost in parallel at the other station.

That Terry cannot excuse himself from recruitment responsibility as ultimately his job is impacted. Bowden appears to be a scape goat for bigger cultural issues.

The SMOKE has arrived it seems, its gonna get BUMPY!
