This phrase was said numerous times in the press conference by Cameron and Newman. I hope this was merely rhetoric and that the club don't really mean it.
They also mentioned that they want to turn the season around for the members and the supporters. As a member and supporter I don't want the season turned around. I don't want to see the 30 year olds out there scrapping a few meaningless wins. I want the club to put the cue back in the rack, focus on youth and tank.
If your concerns are the supporters and members, how about looking beyond this season and the season after this, and begin to properly plan for the long term and build a team that can give us - the long suffering supporters - some sustaine success.
Turn our season around ? No thanks. I've already found other things to keep entertained. Just tank and focus on future seasons.
