PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

With all this talk about Roach, Raines, Gimour, Jackson, Hartigan, and Archibald. It's about time we turned up the heat on these regular seniors who have poor skills or struggle with consistancy.

Tivendale - turns the ball over far too often for my liking and goes missing we the heat is on. Hyde and Roach could take his spot with better foot skills.

Krakouer - great skills but goes missing far too often. Tambing and Rodan could easily cover his absence.

Hilton - is very inconsistant and can't seem to find a long term spot in the backline or forwardline. Thursfield or Moore are similar players.

Chaffey - as our number one tagger he lacks serious leg speed to match it with top line midfielders. He gets exposed for lack of speed and leap when playing in the backline. His best football has been played as a loose man in defence. Polo or Jackson could easily fill this void.

Do we need these players?

I'm not saying we should delist them all, but I do think there futures at the RFC should be considered. We could easily trade 2 or 3 of these players for better draft picks.

Opinions welcome!
