TW idea on WLF

The key Terry was after, from what I heard on WLF, is that there is that there needs to be enough incentive to not be crap/finish low on the ladder (outside of the coach potentially losing his job, sponsors not being happy, fans not being happy, finding it difficult to attract good players to your club and club building a losing culture) to offset the incentive of early picks and potentially priority picks to rebuild the club.

yeah tw also indicated it also gives a little reward for a team that finishes betweem 7-10 (middle of the road)... he was going on about how we finished 9th 4 times in 7 years :blah

Sadly for us Tiger supporters lucky enough to watch Terry on WLF it was short and sweet. From Oct 3 Foxfooty will no longer exist. :'(
All Foxfooty staff have been told their contracts will be terminated after Oct 3.

thats terrible. where did this news come from? has channel 7 made an agreement with foxtel or some other pay tv channel yet??

if footy is on fox sports 3 next year, what does that mean to the games foxtel broadcast? are they set in stone with no chance of a change depending on where you live?? eg, in melbourne this week coll v bris is on ch 10 and freo v fich is on fox footy. but in perth, rich v freo will be on ch 10, and coll v bris will be on fox footy...

in regards to tw second idea about a salary cap for the footy department, i'm totally against that. while i'm a bit of a soclialist at heart, we already have the salary cap with the players. this gives the more richer and better supported club no advantage on the field. i feel they deserve some other advantage, and that is unlimited expenditure on footy dept costs
