I wouldn't have minded Joel's maturity, experience, leadership and football nous out there when we started going tempo rather than plying the game out. It could have made the difference in maintaining our lead and letting the Dogs run over us.

The important part of that conversation is that TW gave Jack and Cleve the chance to be the next in line to Richo. It seems that Jack has taken that opportunity. Hopefully Cleve can start pushing strongly for a spot.

agree with that...it's good to have a bit of competition....hopefully the 2 thrive on it and bring out the best of the 2 of them....although at this stage it seems that jack has done a good job at the seniors.....cleve hasnt' really set a foot wrong since he was dropped to coburg....kicked a few big bags and worked tirelessly to present and also in putting on defensive pressure.....good job cleve

Wallace was pretty open in the interview about blokes coming to the end of their careers being replaced. He was clearly talking about Bowden and Pettifer. I get the feeling they are being eased out.
