Maybe Gaspar did a deal with the club to extend his contract by a year in exchange for reducing the amount paid in his fat 5 year contract. Maybe the club was too embarrassed to admit that a bloke that hasn't played decent football for 3 years held them over a barrel so they had to come up with this *smile* reason. There's often more than meets the eye MB. I wonder why a certain club was actually looking at trading for Gaspar then decided against it as they'd have had to pay too much of his existing contract. And we all thought he didn't have a contract......

Ye we did,he's certainly not on big money this year.

gaspar compared to AK, is no comparrison. AK gave his heart and soul for richmond. put his body on the line every time. gas just waddles around. if he was kept on to play FB then play him there. would much prefer AK on medhurst than gas. on hall too for that matter. surely wrong decision waas made!!
anyway that has come and gone. Gas should now be dropped for good and a young fella given an opportunity to develop at HBF back pocket, especially since joel seems to be playing FB.
