two irish players train with tiges

CC mentioned in the Fighting Tiger that we would be looking at trialing another Irish player this year. Didn't realise it would be this quick!

Nice catch WT and thanks for the heads up! I recon it is a good move by the Tige's as it sure beats waiting for all the other clubs to jump in the fray.

Go Tige's!

I wanted to find more about him.

I googled 'O'Reilly' and 'Ireland'

:)

Good luck. :hihi

His club had a fire towards the end of last year, lost of memorabilia was destroyed.

Knowing our luck he likes booze, strippers and playing with matches. Bad combo on a saturday nite.

All jokes aside, meant to be a deadly accurate player in attack and very creative over there. No harm in trying. 8)

Well at least he doesn't have to worry about spoiling his good looks

Good one Tiges, with the draft compromised for the next few years we need to get more creative with our recruiting

according to that paper, nial mckeever who trained with us has been signed by the lions.
good luck JOR.

Not if we want to fast track the redevelopment of Punt Rd and reduce the demolition costs! ;D

"Jamie O’Reilly and Dan Gordon were back playing again for their club and they both contributed well at times."

"Loughinisland hit back when O’Reilly laid the ball into the path of the marauding Dan Gordon.Jamie O’Reilly put Loughinisland in front on seven minutes with a converted free."

"Loughinisland proved they were up for the fight when O’Reilly produced a superb score from play on 19 minutes.

O’Reilly was beginning to exert his considerable influence for the Blues. His acceleration and athleticism meant Liatroim conceded a lot of fouls simply trying to stop him."

"A free-kick 55 metres from goal was launched into the square by O’Reilly."

"O’Reilly’s prowess from the dead ball kept the visitors in touch as he converted a free from behind the 40 metre line."

If that's the O'Reilly we are talking about, I say we skip to the chase and make him Captain.

Anyone know his stats?

Height, Weight, Age?

He might be one of the onballers or key forwards Cameron was talking about us getting later this year.

I agree. Why not look to NRL players with 2-3 years senior experience who may be keen (and are solid skills wise) on Aussie Rules? Hardly revolutionary, but just a thought.

good god, makes Cameron Ling look like George Clooney. Deceptive picture also makes Chris Munce look like Aaron Sandilands.
