Tyrone Vickery

Vickery. Well, he's certainly taught us to appreciate Miller.

He had his warning. He did as little as he could to get by. And then went backwards again.

A very difficult project player. Ty loses matches but he is winning the war of wills with his coach. Time Dimma laid down the law.

*frown*.

Is this the same Tyrone that was touted by some as our number 1 ruckman (before we had the mullet)? Possibilities for his poor form may include: playing injured, learning a new style of game and struggling to adapt to it, personal issues that are interrupting his game, inability to physically and mentally shake off his opponent, or is having issues with members of the club and is not happy. I was expecting this kid to come out this year and stamp his presence as an up and coming forward. Whatever is bothering him he better shake it of quick smart. He should be given the Coburg jumper this week to really think about his football career.

Beavis said that TV was injured early in the game, bruised arse. Make of that what you will.

I really hope he's playing injured because his loss of form has been nothing short of staggering.

Until I saw the presser I thought it was because Dimma joked he had been kicking it.

FWIW his body language wasn't at all convincing that he is happy with our key forwards.
Despite the public comments he'll no doubt be privately concerned.

Yep...started the season being part of one of the best one-two tall forward combos in the league, inked a new contract and has proceeded to play like the pre-2011 TV... Probably even worse than that.

Has gone backwards at a rate of knots.

6.09 to go in the 2nd quarter in a marking contest, he cops a big knee to the top of his right buttock. Reckon it would've hurt and probably made it pretty tough to run.

Come off it Oldie. Cloke's being briefed by Papa David in just going for the money. We don't need him 100%.

That's fine TF. Give him his $$ for 4-5 years and we've locked him up til 30. Then he can go wherever he wants after we have won 2or3 flags.
I'll happily trade TV for him with Cloke still young enough to have a AA calibre 5-8 yrs ahead

Whoever kicked TV up the arse during the game, clearly FAILED!!!!!! Tyrone needs a blistering
kick up his rear, 7 games into the season he's not anywhere near AFL standard. The only thing
saving him from being dropped is that he rucks up forward allowing Ivan to play loose in defence.

Get with it TV, if the Griff was fully fit and functioning, you'd be out of the side and your future at
RFC would be looking bleak indeed.....

Thought he showed some signs of form last week. He was substituted off yesterday with an injury he sustained early in the 2nd. Had a good first quarter so I think we can excuse his performance yesterday.

This. Although it does seem a case of 1 step forward 2 back at the moment. He did show some poise and skill moving through traffic in the first, although I'd prefer him to be sticking his marks, and at the very least, providing a diversionary contest for Reiwoldt. I had high hopes for his game at AAMI after having a great game against the crows there last year.

Yep! thought he was going alright yesty until injured.

Walking o nthe gorund after the game it was ridiculously slippery and not surprised he did not have an iompact. Stil lthink he is dropping marks he would normally take jsut cant see a replacement for him and am worried if Maric is rucking on his own all year.

Did Tyrone get "bruised buttocks" before or after he did that awesome run out of the centre? (Whoa. Something special there.) It was before wasn't it? I'm not sure.

And how often does a coach specify the injury a player got during the game? Don't they usually say "got a corky" or "came up a bit sore" or "was experiencing full moon emotional burden sharing moment"?

I think Dimma might have used the presser to give TV some metaphorical "bruised buttocks". Excellent. And richly earned.

Either way Bruised Buttocks's run through traffic in the centre was a highlight. I'm sure Dimma noticed.

Saw a couple of times Tyrone was all by his lonesome in the forward line (pocket and flank mostly) and was either missed or overlooked in favour of direct to Jack. I'm sure an accurate lick to Tyrone would have resulted in a mark and shot at goal.

I'd suggest a couple of niggles, poor form, Goodes and Mumford out and a prediction of heavy rain, have all conspired against the big fella.
