Tyrone Vickery

I reckon Ty began to turn it around against the Hawks and was not bad at all agin the Saints. His work rate is well up. Work rate then form. I think Vickery could go mental in as soon as a fortnight. But he has to run harder and more often.

I reckon the fitness staff have just dialled in a slow start for him with the aim to see him peak deep in September.

Must be dropped.

Just not producing anything, and it's impacting on the rest of the team, as he's not doing enough to keep the defensive opponents honest. Jack being triple teamed highlights it.

Too slow. Why does he always think he has 10 minutes to dispose of it? Show some urgency, get rid of it. Also any danger of holding a mark or 2?

Hate to say it, but he has to be dropped.

The whole point of having depth is to put pressure on under-performing players. Bring in Deryxxs, Post, Browne, whoever.

The has been disgraceful all year and still walks on the each week, till the day this club stops rewarding efforts like his we will always be a crap side!

I only hate to say it because it obvious he has talent and I always like to give young talls the benefit of the doubt and some chance when they are getting dogged by injury. But Vickers has shown that it is more than that. He is way out of form. Needs to earn his spot again now.

Why is there rules for different players down there, post has 1 bad game and disappears for 10 weeks, this guy hasn't fired a shot since last August, but he is guaranteed a game every week!
Show some balls and drop him

Post couldn't be worse I can agree with. Not sure Post would be better.

Nobody is that bad, Baloo. Not even the Bus. ;D

I thought Vickery was a better than usual at times today. He worked for half an hour or more but he seems to get tired. I don't think he's got a tank. And he was under pressure coz big iVahn was down on form. Not his worst game this year by a long shot.

Everitt was a bludger and a jib at the same age. Vickery is very like Everitt but our boy can take a grab when he's in the mood.

Didn't Spida kick a few bags in his time? 10 goals once?

We need to persist with TV, he'll come good.
No way would I drop him to Coburg.
You don't just lose the sort of form he had last year, especially with a guy at 200 cms in what his 4th year?

he gets a game because he help out in the ruck...and do okay there....post can't

that bit of hesitant play in the last quarter which resulted in a dropping the ball decision (rather than around the neck you idiot umpire)..WAS STILL A MOMENTUM KILLER..tried to be to bloody fancy

Heh heh. I've had the odd ping at Tyrone to high score for the Tiges, TF. The thing is Everitt took a long time to come good. He may have even been in the magoos for a stint at 21 or 22.

Yeah it all pays good in the long run.

Everitt was better than good as a ruckman and CHF. We're so far behind in player development and our talls (Tyro, Post & Griffo) need some f a s t - t r a c k i n g to fill the CHF & CHB holes.

I like the way we're handling Tyrone, TF. He'll be right I reckon.

I know the conditions today weren't suited to him but IMO he's just gotta be dropped for GWS next week. He had a chance to regain some form against a sh!t team when we played Melbourne earlier in the year. I don't care if he's carrying an injury. I reckon the calf injury he had about a month ago was the only thing that's saved him from being dropped already (that's if it wasn't just some excuse they made up to spare him the public humiliation of being axed).

We just can't afford to keep carrying a player with his output and intensity (or lack thereof). I find the way he laconically moves towards the ball soul destroying as a supporter...it's gotta start having a negative effect on other players. They should almost make him play for Coburg tomorrow.
