What a great re-read this thread is. LMAO at Harry imploring us to pick Tambling - my how times have changed.

Yeah, based on misleading reports that he was a good (maybe the best) inside midfielder available. Hadn't seen him play before we drafted him.

What a tradgey, this thread proves something that I never thought true.

Redford may actually know what he is on about.

All it says to me is Redgum used to put a lot more effort in back in the old days.
These days he's obviously investing too much time in his Drofder business to care less.

Only winding you up H.

Kudos to Sheehan who predicted the top 5 in that year as well. Bugger all mention of Tom Williams though in the lead up.

Anyone know what happened to Moore the kid they all said was on the plumpish side?

He went to Sydney for pick 31 Bear.

has played a dozen or so games & was emergency for 2005 GF.

prob too early to tell as Syd dont blood very many youngsters.

Hi Harry,
I was the one who said that Marc Murphy might not be going to Brisbane. I heard it from my mate Danny the StKilda scout.

By the way, Murphy isn't a CHF, he's about his dad's size, 179cm, 75kg, as a RR/HFF.
He'd be a handy pickup, but not any better than any of the Calder onballers.
Good call.

Valid points TOO.

Yes Redgum has dropped away, too many people houding him for money after the Drofder thong went belly up.

The fact you two blokes are too tight to pay $5 a week for the Redford P. Reds Junior Journal (on sale at all good newsagencies) is not my fault.

Try giving up the donuts.

I'll take the donuts thanks.. ;D

Sounds wise Homer.

I have too take the Donuts, you are offering stuff all on the information front!!!

I enjoyed when Redford Shifter would put out his opus on the up and comers but it most be hard juggling the women and fame that come with the Drofder Brand.

I understand the burden and trappings of fame and fortune.

I've tried but I can't. Perhaps you can help..

Should I go for the big or the small donuts Red?
One with chocolate icing or strawberry?
I do like those sprinkles too.
Sprinkles are what I need.

I think I'll go for the big donut with sprinkles.
After all a good big donut should always be selected ahead of a good small.

What would you pick Redbeard?

Yep.
Not a bad call for 2004, considering he didn't get drafted until the end of 2005.
That extra year can make a big difference.

Murphy is an interesting one actually.
In retrospect, how many of you would still rate him #1 for 2005?
Mind you, as we now know, 2005 wasn't a great drafting year.

1) You get what you pay for i.e. nothing.
2) Correct. Money, Drofder Enterprises, Redfordology, Redford Junior Journal, modelling, women, counselling Branson etc. all takes up a lot of my time. But I get it done.
3) You only understand because you ask me all the time about it.

The decision is easy. Pay your $5 and refer to page 19 of this week's Redford Junior Journal and the full page ad being run by Dunkin Donuts - the only place for donuts, not that I'm biased or anything or have a vested interest in making this recommendation.

Oh man you've got your finger in every donut pie in the country.

Thanks Redders. ;D
