Saw what was going to happen, crapped himself and blew the whistle early. Didn't want to hand Brisbane the game in front of the baying mob.

I'm sure he won't have any such compunction when paying imaginary frees against Jake King this week.

Seriously that 1 decision may have cost Brisbane a finals spot, it sure as hell should have cost the Umpire his finals spot!!

There is no doubt that decision cost Brisbane the game. Was a holding the ball decision every day of the week during the rest of the season previously.
 
Bannister played for the Blues.McBurney known Richmond troll.
Giesch doing the full monty this time round.
Will be lucky to notch up 1 free by half time. ::)

P.s didn't bannister play for Carlton, this is bulkshit!!
 
We have Farmer, Nicholls and Meredith this week. Here are some points of note:

1. None of them have ever paired up together in the same game against the Tigers this season,
2. Meredith is the only one to have umpired against us when we have met Carltank this season (Rd 1),
3. We have a 3 win -0 loss record against Farmer (Port, Brisbane and the Bummers last week),
4. We have a 1 win -1 loss record against Nicholls (Geelong loss and Dawkhorn win), and
5. We have a 2 win -2 loss record against Meredith (Carltank and Adelaide win, Scumwood and Sydney losses).

FWIW I think we haven't done too bad by drawing these three.
 
Luke Farmer (#4) is dead set *smile*ing hopeless. He has crucified us at times. Gee the stocks are low if this bloke is in the best dozen.

Win or lose, I'm betting others will be here after the game to verify.
 
Brilliant! Bagging the umpires before the match. I would have thought it better to comment on their performance after the match. Ump's have good and bad matches as anyone who has been a ref or ump knows.
 
Absolutely sickening seeing Geelong winning the gross majority of the 50/50 decisions today.

They seem to be the umpires little pets.
 
The Tigers just need to be first to the ball, then the maggots will need to pay what's there and not what's in their imagination!

Go Tigers, hit 'em hard and hit 'em often!

I'm pretty sure if Geelong had of got across the line umpires 28 & 30 would have joined the huddle. They did everything they could for the cats.
