Perhaps Geish still harbours a few grudges, a la KB...  The problem is, Geish seems to be able to do something meaningful about them.

In any other language it's a conflict of interest, but as everyday plebs it isn't like we can do anything about it. :(

By the way, can you please send me my Bounty in a refigerated satchel?  I hate it when they get melted...

Re: BOUNTY OFFERED!

Gee, this bloody "umpires against us" cost us the game rubbish is just that. We played crap football today, sure a few decisions went against us but umpires dont cost you a game when you loose by so much for gods sake. Start honing in on the real factors that need to be scrutinized by the RFC in making a real challenge in terms of making it a genuine finals contender.

Whilst I agree we have been screwed by the maggots it is in no way the reason we are in the position we are in. That's due to sheer laziness, poor decision making, crap skill level (as in Pattison's kicking; just missed another shot) and lack of physicality.

Complaining about umpires is a sure sign of a losing mentality.

Yeah, gotta agree with Ridders on this one.  You watch how suddenly the umpiring will turn around IF WE START PLAYING WELL!

Played well last week and the week before and still got screwed!!! explain that!

Oh, yes, I love Bounties.  I seem to have better fortune with coconuts than Keith Richards. :D

Hey Tuby, where in this thread did anybody - including myself - blame the loss today on the umpires?

I was commenting on some conspicuoulsy appalling decisions the past few weeks (something I've scarcely had cause to do in 30 years of conscious supporting of the Tigers) - for example the one against Petts today - not helping the situation, but seriously we could have had a 1000 frees today and we'd have likely still left Tassie without four points.

When the commentators - even generally biased Perth-based ones are as perplexed as myself then something has to be up.

Re: BOUNTY OFFERED!

When we get a good run from the umps - it is when we are playing well and are 1st to the ball.

When we are 2nd to the ball we get flogged by the umps.

However - two that got so far up my nose today were -

A Tiger play in a backflank groundball pack had his head almost stretched off his shoulders - the ball could not come out and you guessed it we got pinged for holding the ball

Foley was penalised for jumping into the back of a tall hawk when both players were on their knees on the ground - ball being in front of the hawk - who lunged forward - Foley too lunged forward from behind the hawk player and in doing so jumped all over the Hawks back - yes it was a free kick to hawthorn - correct decision. Less than two minutes latter Tambling is jumped all over in exactly the same ciircumstances - both players on their knees lunging at the ball - this time Tambling was in front and the hawk jumped into his back - ball up - same umpire - thats when I did the nanna - left the room - tried to cool off!

and pettifers tap on the head...what the hell else was he supposed to do with the player running at him after he'd kicked it???

and krak's "trip" when he clearly grabbed the ball???

Nope, umpires were shocking.
