Unlisted players currently on some training lists

Wonder why we don't whack the Vets back on the main list.I imagine we have the cap space.

If we have the 2 vets back on the main list does that mean we can have 6 rookies?

I'm confused. If not then what's the difference between having them on or off the main list? This has never been clear to me.

Last time it was an issue (putting a vet back on the list) I read that the only way to move them is to DELIST them. You couldn't just shuffle a vet-off back on to the list. Probably still the case.

On the list: full salary counts in TPP. Vet-off the list: half salary in TPP, takes rookie slot in overall numbers.

Why did we shuffle Richo off the list at season's end?

Obviously our TPP has increased because last season we had to keep Richo ON the list to make the minimum TPP. Moving him off allowed us an extra senior slot for a draftee.

We plan to take a senior player with the last spot, I believe. The merit of this is debatable but it must be Wallet and Miller's idea of the right balance.

Re: Zac

Re: Zac

Sounds too short for a KPP back which is what we desperately need. Seems more of a kellaway type.

Word at Moorabbin is that the players can't believe we let Roach go. Has been impressive with his pace, skills and fitness!! :o

So you guys will be picking him up then?

Roach on one wing, and Fiora on the other, don't thank us just yet, it's the least we could do!

It's just a shame Sugar had to open his mouth at the B & F, would have been nice to have been involved in another Simmonds type deal with you guys involving young Tommy.

Word at Alberton is that Port's senior players said of David Rodan: "Get him!".

Best of luck to these blokes but a glance at the records of Richmond discards over the past decade should make other clubs wary.

Their best trainer since Aaron Fiora.

Apparently Tom got a decent roost up the behind a year or so ago because of his training attitude. I hope he's matured since then and gets another chance and really makes a go of it. Good luck Tommy. :)

Great, but it says alot about the Linton Street fitness levels.

Unfortunately I think players attitudes in the past may count against them if it is a close call o na delisting. Thsi may have hurt Tom in the end. New players should be aware of these things, get hte atttitude right from the start and I reckon they wil lall have a better chance of making it (obviously) but also being retained on a list in the long run should it be a close call on a delisting. I know I would rather keep a bloke that has had his attitude right form the start than one who needed a kick up the bum.
