We had 1329 posts last Sunday.  I think that's a record number in a day for PRE.  It's interesting how we all have so much to say after a disappointing loss.  I can't wait to see how that compares in a week leading up to a Tiger Grand Final.  Talkback programs also seem to fire up more after poor performances.

Unofficial forums are growing in popularity and seem to be a medium of the future for football discussion.  Am interested to know if anyone who posts here also rings talkback shows after games?  I'm way too shy to do that but am comfortable discussing opinions on the internet.

Not sure about talkback. Its the Radio version of reality TV.

Quality of the callers is an issue with probably only 1 in 5 callers having anything relevant or interesting to raise.

The Soapbox on SEN can be good for a laugh, but otherwise there must be alot of people with not much to do.

Never called, probably never will.

Good question Rosy.

I some times watch our games and see something happen and think to my self" Redford/Phantom/Evo/Rosy?whoever on PRE mentioned that". Or watch a player struggle and think PRE is going to have a field day with that. I never tune into talk back radio to hear talk back but if I am in the car during work hours and something comes up that I feel that strongly about I will ring. Probably done it 6-8 times over my life but if I go to PRE I know I have a chance to voice my reply to a topic unlike talk back radio. Unless like the fact that replies on PRE are recorded for time. Same on PRE are very chop-change with there viewpoints and having the ability to go back in time and check out how people have changed.

These forums give the people a voice, sometimes I think people go to far and turn Ferrel behind the keyboard because they can be someone their not.

No talkback radio for me *shudder*. Especially when the presenter has a big ego and abuses opposite opinions.

I like to visit this forum and read the Tiger talk. Being relatively new to Melbourne I don’t know any other Richmond fans here yet, so get my fix here. I’m more of a reader than a writer at the moment.

My favourite is "vent your spleen" after the game on 3LO. People get 30 seconds to let fire before the siren blows. Geelong callers are the funniest. Everyone is beheaded for being useless one week then they are heroes the next.....not necessarily the next week but the next win.

Ah the passion of footy. Don't ya love it. :hihi

i enjoyed listening to geelong fans going off their brains after we beat them and the west coast game

some of the best radio i have ever heard

Just got back from Tassie after that very disappointing loss >:(

Its going to be a long night getting through the 1329 posts :-\

Come on some one admit to being that fool called billy who calls up sen/3aw any where 4 times a day and always ends with go tigers.

Some good callers on the midnight show on sen where the talkers get a lot more time, but in prime time its best to email if you want your views out there.

i called up Tiger Talk one Monday night few years back when everyone was discussing what coach they went. Greg Miller was on and he asked me and i replied with "Get Terry Wallace, he's a tough nut!"

The next day, they had this statement advertising the show!...Theres my 15 seconds of fame.

i love the soapbox. it's a crack up.

i've been on SEN and WLF a couple of times each. haven't tried again in at least 12 months. i go to water when speaking in public.

when i was a teenager they had a show on 3aw called sexually speaking (similar to dr feelgood). i used to call that show almost every week with my so called "problems" or "diseases" :hihi
