The game against St.Kilda I believe highlighted Richmonds lack of defence. With or without Richo I think our forward line looks set for the future with Shultz and Hughes being the main targerts. Our Midfield missing 2 of our best contributers in Cogz and on occasions Newman is still very young and with some of the quality midfielders we have coming through (Foley, Deledio, Polo) I dont believe it is that bad. Our problem lies in the Defence where our only real likley looking prospect down there is Thursfield.
My question is this - Considering we finish 10th this year, what draft picks will we recieve?
Also what Key Position Defenders are there in this draft? - Any that Richmond look likley of obtaining etc? Can someone who maybe knows more in the area of the draft than myself come up with a small list of potential defenders?
