No issue with your idea, but WCE, Freo, Crows, and Port all veto.

Because their lists are strong with WA and SA players, they cry that they will have more players playing origin, which is unfair rest and injury wise.

The only reason the AFL went with the All-Star concept is the interstaters crying left them no choice (IMO).

I know, but.....

Personally I think they should use the one weapon players and clubs both love, cash.

Proper state of origin, all 6 states (NT with QLD and ACT with NSW), BUT if you are a player you get $10k and your club gets $10k. Lets seem them cry then.

cornes is a typical south australian,they quite rightly have an inferiority complex towards victoria when it comes to footy.
i don`t know what they are whingeing for,it`s not a state of origin game it`s a one off celebration for 150 years of footy.
victoria is the greatest football state and always has been,we are the biggest footy state, have always had the biggest and best competition and the current comp is ours which the interstate clubs joined. so it was always going to be victoria versus whoever.
if the afl had have chosen SA over WA or vice versa one of them would have whinged anyway.

it`s pretty much a rubbish concept and i just hope none of our players get injured(that`s if any get a game ;D)

Based on current form (07) & reputations, can only think of a handful of Tigers in contention to play in this game. Richo, Foley, Bowden & maybe Simmonds if fit (Cox, Sandilands, Lade all being non Vics).

Has been AA 2 of the last 3 years, so obviously some people rate him.
Also, I said in contention, not a certainty.

Without having even thought about who would be in each side & what style of gameplan the 'all-stars' would adopt, I'd say he could play either HBF or HFF. Even a very handy utility to have come off the bench for a variety of pinch hitting roles.
