Victory is sometimes bitter sweet. Am I alone?

Good lord Claw.
Brown? If we put Brown up for trade dont think for one minute a side wouldnt smell something fishy.
Shultz?here we are crying out for a KPP and you want to get rid of one who we have invested in for 4yrs.You want all that money to go to waste so another side can reap the benefits?Besides he cant be traded he resigned this year.
Pettifer? Yes he still has some flaws but he has improved 75% under Terry.Under Frawley Headland would never have been able to try and whack Pettifer in our backline ;) ;D

ah mad cow if you want something decent you usually have to give up something half decent in return.trading schulz imo would be a very smart move the more i see of him the more im convinced he wont make it.
browny why not hes 28 like i said its not as if we will miss him to much, hes either been injured or out of form for most of his stay at the club.
if we keep brown we dont need pettifer. anyway they are just ideas like i said if you want something decent.

Claw, I think you're on to something here.... lets encourage the club to trade most if not all of our 'coming into form' players for heaps of kids and lets keep doing it every year so that we never really get a team that gels and that way you and your fellow Les Miserables (Daft and Giggler) can keep on moaning and complaining and griping and whinging and b!tching into eternity. Now doesn't that sound like fun? Isn't that what supporting is all about? Yeah, thought so...

okay mr sarcasm answer me what is the best thing to have happened to the club in the last 20yrs. no #$@^&% idea well let me tell ya. aquireing 5 picks in the first 20 in the 04 draft. its taken just 1 and a bit seasons for all of these kids to have some sort of impact on the club. if i could get 2 early picks for a 28 yo injury prone player i would do it in a heart beat. the trouble with you is you cant see past ther nose on your face.

In fairness to Brown, I wouldn't call him "injury prone". He was in career best form when that clown from Melbourne threw himself across Browny's leg. It could have happened to anyone. He has had a fairly injury free career compared to others, though, I must admit, I don't know how he will go in the future with his soft tissue after such an horrific injury.

Strange comment Claw. Brown and Pett's can and will play together - makes our forward line very potent and can help cover for our current lack of a quality CHF as Patto only need compete and direct the ball until he or someone else can give us more. Brown will spend a bit of time in the mid field as he gets fitter in any case.
