Voss pulls out of Carlton job

What are you talking about! He bags the crap out of Richmond at every oppurtunity. *smile* off Voss you sniper!

We'd need to find somebody who's had amnesia for the past 25 years if we are going to eliminate every expert that's bagged us.

overrated. blows his own trumpet.

rather go for a less outspoken hard working type like bond, ratten

Agree H. Stocks have and are plummetting with all the carry on.
He'll probably wait for Matthews to give it away.Voss has carried on a treat as if he's the ants pants.

I think the Matthews to Hawthorn, Voss to Brisbane move in a couple of years could be a real possibility.

Apparently has pulled out of the race for the Carlton job.
I suggest we should strike while the irons hot and get him down as an assistant coach.

Wouldn't be able to afford him

Given our current state it is quite deserved I would have thought.

He did not just bag us he gave us no respect and at the start of the year came out and publily walloped cause a Brisbane player was thinking of coming to Punt Rd. He can not even conduct himself in public the sniper.

Are you Micheal Voss? Because you bag the crap out of Richmond at every opportunity and love to snipe...

At least Voss doesn't do it hiding behind a computer screen...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o

WHY DID YOU DO THIS VOSSY?????

Now Ratten has the job all but guaranteed, and can put the cue back in the rack :-\ And I thought they were looking good for this week against the Pies :'(

Voss was sounding out Frawdley the guy whos been around more wooden spoons than anyone else and Brittain as his asssistants. :o :rofl :o :o
No wonder the Bluescum ran away when they heard this.
Voss knows theres no job for him out there and ran away so that he wouldnt lose face.

Voss has come across as both an arrogant and manipulative individual. That somehow the apprenticeship that others do as a matter of course is beneath him. That all he had to do was go through the formality of choosing which club he wanted to coach and the job was his. I personally think that his future coaching prospect have been severely damaged. At the moment it's a sellers market with at least four positions available, if a club was ever prepared to take on someone untried it would be this year. It's unlikely that such a turnover will happen again in the foreseeable future. Personally I think the Blues should be celebrating, the Pagan disaster could have looked good in retrospect compared to what could have happened.

I'm spewing that Carlton/Voss came to their senses ! DAMN I loved them as cellar dwellers !

Agree, Al.

FWIW I reckon he'd have terrified the clubs at interview time.

Not only would it have been sweet to see him at Carlton, what with the inevitable failure and all but I'd be pretty grateful not to have to listen to his special comments. Uninspired at best.

Voss will make a great coach you bunch of blonks. I'd take him at Richmond in any capacity.

Silent Bob,
How do you know he would make a great coach?

Just because someone was a good player does not mean they are going to be a good coach....Watson, Knights, Judge, Tony Shaw, Schimmelbusch, Walls, Ayres, etc....history is littered with them.

Usually, its the hard-nut backman that usually does o.k as a coach....Malthouse, Sheedy, Worsfold, Roos, Thompson, Laidley, etc.......maybe Wallace? ???

Voss is unknown in the role...unproven in the role...and does not know the role, and to be honest, I can't understand all the hype and panic over this bloke.
One of the mysteries of the universe....
