Leapin' Leo Barry saved Sydney's first ever premiership in the dying minutes with an unbelievably courageous mark, you can't go past that.

Yeh, it got my vote too D3. Was there for that GF and the grab still gives me goosebumps, especially when u see the photo with all those Eagles hands ready to swoop.

Inclined to agree, always admired super/courageous defensive marks over offensive marks.

Takes more courage generally to mark defensively and there is more pressure if you decide to go for the mark.

1 - Royce Hart. Just because.
2 - Leo Barry. Will be long remembered.
3 - Jezza. Although Mike Williamson is responsible for half it's fame.
4 - Snake Baker. All excitement at an exciting time for the Kangas.

Thought Leigh Matthews one (some time in the 8os) was unlucky not to get a run.

No, to my mind the best mark in a GF was Twiggy Dunn's in the drawn 1977 GF.

Unfortunately not listed.
