Geez he's talking crap

Nothing new in him talking CRAP, he's been doing it for years and years.

Roll on a new coach, a clean out of the playing list and football department, then an improved team on the field. TW won't be able to take the credit for any of it and I for one are very happy with that outcome.

He's trying to clear his name.

From the time he was asked about money from the Swans by Sam Newman up until now, we can see that he's had enough time to 'make up' a story. He wasn't even sure if Smorgon would back up what he said today anyway.

Deflection & deception

What did he say about the Swans money thing ? I only heard the start and he was just waffling on at that point.

From what I understood is that Craig Kelly (Wallace's manager) approached the Swans for the coaching job when Eade was sacked, but for some reason they had a 'Choose Roos' campaign which was too strong to break and so Wallace never received the job. He denies receiving any money (small compensation) from the Swans considering that he walked from the Bulldogs to take the Swans job and as they preferred Roos, it was virtually the Swans fault for leaving Wallace in the dark.

It's never Terry's fault is it? Poor Terry.

In terms of the Swans I don't think it was Wallace's fault. He was promised the job then quit the doggies & Sydney started winning & Roos got the job.In this instance I think TW was entiled to some compensation. In terms of how TW left the doggies to me he's just talking crap.

Yeah but the difference between today's explanation and the Sam Newman one a month ago, was that he hesitated answering Sam on whether he did receive any compo from the Swans. Why didn't he spin/hesitate now ?

He's had enough time to brief himself several times with the same words and stand by them whether they're true or not.

There's still no clear words on what type of agreement the Swans gave his management.

Glad I missed that. :veryupset

I was racing back to my office to meet a client and turned on the car radio to hear him drivelling nonsense about his exit from the Bulldogs and the Swans saga...utter crap.

I did find it intriguing that when he said someone leaked in record time from the Board meeting addressing his position at the Bulldogs that Doran pointedly (?) asked him "Did you tell anyone?" Wallace stopped dead in his tracks for a second and then went on with his waffle about how he got in his car and was shocked to hear it on 3AW so quick...hard to not read into things when it comes to him but I found a distinct sense of de ju vue for some reason...

Makes you wonder how much information Wallace has leaked to the media over the years.
