I read somewhere that Wallace gave the players a good old fashioned bake after the loss on Saturday. I wonder what was really said? Here is one take on it....
"Ok boys, thanks for turning up today – sorry about all the old blokes hanging around the rooms – I assure you, it wont happen again. Now you’ve got a well earned week off, what say we have a sleepover at my house. Stay up late and watch videos ( Beaches is my favourite) and drink soy lattés. We can have a pillow fight competition to see who is the strongest. Greg cant make it. He is using the week to plan for next years draft. He’s keen on a skinny 17 year old from Thursday Island who plays lacrose, but could be and excellent project player. Brownie, can you bring over your best of Barbara Streisand CD. Oh, and make sure you ring Tivvers and tell him to come to. It’ll be so much fun!"
