Wallace Gone

Agree. For me the club and Terry tried their utmost to keep things on a professional level and have a almost bloodless coo period. Whatever is said about Terry and his faults in his time at Richmond, I truly believe that he tried to finish on the right note and walk away with dignity. He was determined not to be remembered for coaching two clubs and leaving them on bad terms. Smart move, benefits the club and Terry. Puts both in a good light, leaves Wallace with the chance to find another job in football and also makes the Richmond Football Club a more attractive proposition to prospective coaches.

Yes, the club deserves plaudits for the way they handled this one.

Gee, what will the media do now once the controversy surrounding the benny bird has died down.

Who is going to be next?

That is easy the caretaker coach will win his first game and the media will call for the club to give him the job immediately which the club will not do then after a few losses the media will tell the club to fire the caretaker coach and install another caretaker coach.

I'm sure Wallace was being honest when he said the challenge of restoring the sleeping giant to power was what attracted him to the club, and that he would've loved nothing more than to be hailed as a messiah by the Tiger faithful. Unfortunately for all concerned and like many before him, he failed.

Well said. As much as some of his action o this day make me furious I feel nothing but a sadness that Wallace is gone. Today was enviable from the half time of the Carlton game, but having it confirmed just closes another mediocre chapter in our recent history.
