Wallace: “I’m Locked and Loaded”

Punt Road was under siege today as rumours circulated that Terry Wallace had been sacked as Richmond coach. Wallace did not take training, preferring instead to remain in his office at the club.
“I’m locked and loaded, and I’m not coming out,” Wallace told police by phone. “I have a white board and witches hats, and I’m not afraid to use them.”
Richmond President Gary March said the club had extensive experience of removing coaches who refused to budge. “With Danny Frawley we sent in the possums,” he said. “We know Terry can’t stand possum poo so we hope that will force him out. If that doesn’t work we’ll seek some advice from Damir Dokic.”
