Congratulations on a great forum and also on the win last week. The better team on the day won. I've registered here to do a search for information.
Very curious as to what Terry Wallace's official word was in regard to Kane Johnsons arrest last week considering he commented in the media about Fevs recent *smile*-up. Johnson and Richardson were out on the turps at last Saturday night and Johnson in particular was legless. He couldn't stand without support and was loudmouthed and abusive to other patrons. Not a good look from the captain of an AFL club. Very lucky not to get his head smashed in actually. Has there been any word from Wallace in regard to his players behaviour or is it as it seems that he only comments when an opposition player is involved?

We've been able to keep a lid on the urine sample, onb. Luckily, there was no film of the affair.

stop talking *smile*, the party was at his house with family and close friends, so dont make up crap like he was loudmouthed and abusive to other patrons.

Get his head smashed in by whom, his family, team mates...stop trolling mate :troll

Go back to big footy, child. ::)
rescind his rights please mods.
We don't want PRE to end up like other feral sites where trolls come on and put crap on here about our club.
That's our perogative ;D

Geez our capacity for tolerance is at a low level today.

Johno's behaviour was very disappointing whichever way you wrap the fish and chips with the media coverage. His capacity for making mistakes on and off the field seems unrivalled as far as captains are concerned.

How many mistakes has he made off field?

His blue in farewelling players at the B&F before they were announced was one that I am aware of, not the mention the recent wee one. As Captains go, he's probably only trumped by Carey, but then again he is ahead by a rather large margin. :hihi

As for on field. I can't recall a Captain kicking the ball the wrong way once, let alone twice (his memory is obviously bad).

For mine, the B&F gaffe and kicking the wrong way once was a bit of bad luck perhaps, but to do it again and leak on a police station is just stupid. It's ironic to me that we had this much hailed selection process that left no stone unturned, and this is what the outcome is.

Richo was the obvious choice for the 2008 Captain - on and off the field.

I've defended Kane as captain but I've never forgotten his crack at not caring about what  Tiger supporters think, saying they're a fickle lot, after the team had been absolutely flogged.  Very condescending, although admittedly he could have been quoted out of context.

Welcome to PRE odn :)

I think the answer to your question is that Terry hasn't made any public comment at all about Kane.

As for all the troll talk and personal abuse, that's a bit ordinary just because we don't like what's posted.  This thread makes me feel uneasy.  There is obviously a big difference in the explanation from RFC and the info from those who saw the boys out on the night.  I wonder what people would think if the stories actually have some substance to them.

I wonder if Terry will comment this week. *smile* poor leadership Johnno. >:(

Anyone who thinks Sugar spent all of last Sat night at home is deluded. He was seen in the exact state onb describes by many people out and about. Richo too.

I think it does matter willo. Kane slapped himself over the wrist with a stick of limp celery. Richo was out of sorts yesterday. Was the fact his behaviour was as bad but he got off playing on his mind? Does the spin and cover-ups play on the group's mindset as a whole?

There's a lot we don't know about how the behaviour of 2 of our most high profile players, actually make that our 2 highest profile players, affected team morale but one thing is for sure.

It was very unprofessional of the players in question and showed very poor leadership skills. We'll never get the respect Terry mentions if that's the way our leaders behave during the season.
