I really hope Cog's body is up to it and he gives it a go in 2009.

Me too, but Cogs was slow before his two knees so I don't think he would have got any faster. As much as I hope I am wrong, I reckon he will be badly exposed if and when he returns and he will have to be dropped to Coburg as he will be a liability for seniors.

The rest of that interview was a repeat of the q's and a's from Ploughs pre game interview on Triple M on Saturday.

The rest of the finalists are making up the numbers, with the possible exception of North who have been to the doctor for their "shinboner spirit" injections again.

I don't buy North - their % is a dead giveaway for mine.........

I heard the start of the interview then turned the radio off.

Been wondering how you keep "up-to-date" - now I know :hihi

The thing I like about them is they have beaten the Dogs twice, Collingwood twice, Hawks once, ran the Cats to 2 or 3 goals earlier this year etc. I reckon they are better than some give them credit for.

This is true, but for me its out balanced by the continual blabbering on about the bloody shinboner spirit (have any of these guys even seen an abattoir? they are the same as every other AFL team full of kids driving cars worth more than mine ;D), and having to look at the constipated stare of Archers.

Actually will Archer be constipated tonight about:

1) Richmond is rubbish
2) Kangas don't get enough respect
3) Caro just doesn't understand, and the AFL/media/whoever should leave the players alone

Agreed, the shinboner spirit stuff has become rather tiresome to say the least.

I agree with you tigerstrang - I think there are more plodders in the game right now doing quite well - if there is a place for them then there is for Cogs too. His strength is his ability to get the ball out of packs and be in and under the ball. He is one player that could pass to a player in a better position and use to pinpoint passes rather than just kick it high. He doesn't need to be quick around the ground - his value is elsewhere and I'm sure he will get use to the pace of the game eventually.

Cogs is one of my favourite players and I will be devastated if he calls it quits.

Would be shattered if Cogs decided to give it up when he's so close to making it back
After everything he's been through, he's come this far, he'd have to at least have a crack at 2009 and then make his decision then
