The team that he created plus his gameplan/coaching makes the realisation of this statement an impossibility. At 1-5 we would have to win 11 from 16 games. That will not be happening.

With TW in charge we've never won more than 11 games in an entire season - hard to believe we will win 11 out of the remainder this year. Also, best Win% 52.27. TW would have to SMASH that to get the 11 required wins to put us in finals contention.

I hope I'm wrong, and will be the first to eat a serve of humble pie if I am. Happily.

Meh, Wallace can play for finals all he wants, if he can do it with an team the average of age of lower than 23 and 6 months (which is lower than today's team) he truly is a coaching genius. As long as we keep playing young teams I'm happy.

I think thats the point. Wallace is lamenting the missing 'experienced' players and advocating bringing them back as they have the polish to win games. It's a worrying comment. Personally I think there has been alot of encouraging signs from some of the younger players, I am not keen to see 5 30yo+ back in the side soon.
