Wallace/Richmond Part Ways

So where did the story eminate from? Was there an emergency meeting? WHY was there an emergency meeting? Over Morton getting a rocket? :hihi Oh dear!

Just finished lunch listening to Jim Wilson, Sky News AFL reporter. He said that yesterday a significant number of Richmond people got together and basically tapped March on the shoulder over Wallace. They have had enough of being close but not over the line and want change. Wilson, went on to say that when the senior players learned of this, they approached March directly this morning and told him that the players fully supported Wallace. The players basically persuaded March not to sack Wallace today. Wilson, doesn't think this issue is dead and buried as the Board meets tonight and he said there will be some very unhappy people at Richmond right now over the fact that Wallace has been retained.

Does anyone know if TW will still be attending the Board meeting like originally planned to discuss what is happening in the football side of things?

Knowing our club, the Board may well overturn March's decision this morning and still sack Wallace tomorrow. The media hacks would just love that.

Curiouser and curiouser. Ta Massai Man!

I absolutely love this. I am listenting to Sen now and guess what - they have moved on and are talking about Mick Malthouse and his future.

Or to quote the Life of Brian...

Crucifixion? "Yes" Second on the left.

Re:

A touch of the biblical...

Maybe the original journalist in this game of chinese whispers thought he heard "Wallace/Richmond Part Ways", when in fact what was actually said was "Wallace reckons Richo parts waves".

March needs to step up and shown some leadership. This farce has to stop NOW! Wallace is history. Everybody but Wallace seems to know that. Someone in a senior position at the club must have leaked to the press that the coach was gone. Why prolong the agony? Do something March!!!

Saw Craig Cameron front Sky news today...Vintage spin. It was pathetic! Kept referring to the process. I wanted to puke. If you want to know what's wrong with our culture look no further than this man. He is full of BS and should be shown the door with TW and his league of laughable assistant coaches.

Was mentioned during the press conference that everything that needed to be discussed was done so Plough would not be attending the board meeting.

Bogans running our club are starting to buckle and sway under the pressure.
A couple more *smile* performances and some none to subtle baying for blood from the media scavengers will probably see the place implode all over itself by the mid season break.
Nothing like a bunch of back room manipulators and agenda setters for slipping the old cut throat out of the sleeve and splitting a few seams.
