If Wallaces payout is an issue I'm willing to chip in a lazzy $100 to move him on and appoint a new coach. I'm sure many of you would do the same. >:D

We should be asking Walla$e to pay us for promising so much and delivering so little.

If he had any integrity he'd resign and gtfo.

But he doesnt.

Agree...he should fall on his sword.

It's one thing to raise $80K for an extra rookie or two but I don't think we can pull together the funds to pay out Wallace's overly inflated paypacket.

i'd happily chip in $100, but i dont think it's neccesary. i reckon wallace will walk. he doesn't have the ticker to see this through to the end

The sad reality is that unless Wallace changes his game plan and/or somehow introduces kicking and defensive pressure skills to the 22 that run out each week, we'll be lucky to have won a game by half way through the season. His tenure will then be up and I would imagine that he'd prefer to walk rather than coach out the season for no purpose.

If it was me, I'd have removed him tonight. He's far too stubborn to even try anything different with this group and we need someone to try different things and see what other players on the list can do before season's end.

Bottom line is he has to go. He has been in charge of the RFC for over 4 years and he has yet to find the right combination of players who can carry out his so called gameplan. No doubt it was his decision to get the Polaks, Mc Muffins and Kingsleys of this world instead of investing in youth. He has taken us from 12th to 9th to 16th and back to 9th again. He has set this club back further by not getting rid of the dead wood and finding out what kids can actually play earlier rather than later and also compromising our draft options by overachieving with stop gap players.
Even though Wallace may come across as a proud and honest man he is stubborn prick. In fact he has crucified us for the future (GC17, WS) because of this.. The biggest favour he could've done was to get the priority pick last year and admit he and his best mate Miller totally mismanaged the list from the time they arrived. Bottom line is he would've never walked. This is why we need to take action as a club NOW.
I'm sure most people feel Wallaces time is up.. What are we waiting for?

He has only 6 months left on his contract = around say $300k. The club would probably lose more than that amount + the payment of a replacement coach in the gameday gate alone over the period, if this was to continue. Not to mention further damage to the brand name, loss of sales in merchandise, future sponsors, membership for this year and next etc.

March just needs to came out and say that his contract will not be renewed at the end of the year

It'll be up to him if he sees it though (i doubt he would)

Hear. Hear DRod.

That time is now Gary.

Punctuate it by saying that certain footballers are playing for their careers.
