Whilst I would have loved a win today, and every day....it would have been wallpapering over the cracks.

Bowden as a key back. Simmo as our one tall forward.
Our skills weren't as embarassing because of the weather, but the same people made the same poor decisions.

We've got gaping holes in the way our club structures up. Wins like today make you gloss over the inadequacies.

At least now, we're still 1-7, and have to have a think about where our club is at.

Yep completely agree.....those conditions today in Adelaide were made for a contested team like ours...even with that on our side we couldnt win. All today does is outline:

* Still in need of KPD
* Still in need of KPF
* Still in need of a small defender - even a mid sized defender who is accountable!
* Still in need of a gun midfielder or 2.
* Raines is a true battler

We are in huge trouble...

I pretty much agree I almost didn't want a win with such a sub standard poorly structured team that we had. Plus I hate to say it but we need Butcher.

I agree to, although we did have 3 KPFs playing at Coburg this weekend, two of whom should be playing in the senior side right now so that we know for sure if they have anything to offer us.

I have heard that our young KPFs don't get a look in with Richo in the side. Well Richo ain't there right now, and yet we play all three of them in the VFL.
