Monster report, titn. Thanks.

Love the way you're making the big calls there.

I got a couple for you- did Howat win any clearances/leather? Did Foley run anyone down or chase?

Sorry I haven't got back to questions earlier and I hope it's not too late now.

Howat got a fair bit of the ball first up at stoppages but did most of the damage moving away with the ball.

Foley's tackles were mostly in the scrimmages - close in stuff - wacking on three quick tackles in a row sort of thing. He did lay a beauty on Howat on the wing boundary line - one of those that you can hear the smack of skin on skin.

I've read different reports (not on the AFL site) that Connors was equal best on with Foley, so there isn't really a lot I can take out of these reports with all the differing opinions.

Yep the reports I've read Connors was a standout :-\ I guess everyone watches through different glasses but in saying that I really appreciate the report TITN. :thumbsup

The only thing I can think of was that they confused Connors with Howat - but I can't see how? ???

According to the RFC site, Polak "dominated" at CHB. :-\

Don't get that either. But some players do sort of drift into the background and you don't notice the good work they do. Come to think of it - Polak wasn't even noticeable at the quarter time huddles. So maybe he was better than I give up credit for. Quite possible D3.

You said that Edwards has no defensive skills but you are definately wrong (or maybe he had a very off day in this department).

He played against men before being drafted and he tackled everyone all the time, apparently he is like an Andrew Krakouer with defensive skills so I'm going to say perhaps he had a down day or something.

Just wanted to say something in case people read your report and get the wrong idea about him, that's all!

Yeh, I remember hearing that about him too. But not on this day.

Actually I saw Petersen there in his playing strip – not sure why – maybe they were practicing before I got to the ground. Anyway he walked right by me a number of times and I was very impressed with his physique. Good upper body development and not bad pins - reminded me a lot of a very young Byron Pickett. No way 183cm tall – more like 187-88.

Dont you just love it when putting on a Richmond guernsey makes you stand soooooo tall :love

I'm very concerned in the apparent lack of effort/interest shown by some of the younger but established Richmond players, like Lids, Patrick and Petts. I realise that its only a praccy match, but they should have taken the game apart considering what they were up against. Not Happy >:(
