PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I’m travelling to Wonthaggi tomorrow to catch the intra-club praccy match – one of my favourite games for the year.

Apparently senior players will be rested – but given the injury list, JON, Cogs, Thursty, Petersen, Simmonds and Newy – I’m not sure exactly what that will mean. Especially seeing that Tambling and Krakouer to head to Darwin to play in the AAS against the Bumbers. That only leaves 36 fit players. Teams I’d like to see would be:

RAINES GASPAR PBOWDEN
Meyer Kingsley Graham

CLINGAN POLAK CASSERLEY
Jackson Richo Edwards

WHITE CONNORS HYDE
Tivendale Tuck Polo

PETIFER REIWOLDT BROWN
Hartigan Hall Moore

COLLINS SCHULZ MCGUANE
King JBowden Hughes

PATTISON JOHNSON HOWAT
Knobel Deledio Foley

I reckon they might play the old VFA way and have 16 a side leaving 2 on each interchange.

The Reiwoldt / Hall, Polak / Richo, Casserley / Edwards and Johnson / Deledio match-ups would make for good viewing.

Anyway – either way I’ll post a report on Thursday morning.
